After graduating from UNC Charlotte and North Carolina State University with a BS Accounting and Masters in Accounting, respectively, she began her career with one of the largest consulting and professional services firm in the world. Quickly realizing that she needed to follow her passion, she completely changed careers and went into talent acquisition, working with hundreds of candidates to place them into careers.
Latesha was a 2016 30 Under 30 Award Recipient with the Charlotte Black Chamber of Commerce. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Charlotte Chapter and Director of Student Member Services of the Southern Region of NABA, overseeing profesional development programming and operations of over 40 NABA collegiate chapters. She also serves as a member of the Advisory Council for Business Professionals of America and Inclusion Champion for the AICPA National Commission on Diversity and Inclusion.
